- First do the cockpit drill checks before moving off.
- Prepare: With your left foot press the clutch pedal fully down , move gear lever into first gear, with your right foot press the accelerator slightly and hold it steady, slowly let up the clutch pedal until you hear the engine noise change slightly this is the clutch biting point and with experience you’ll be able to feel this easily, hold clutch and accelerator steady in his position.
- Observe: Check your inside centre mirror and outside right mirror, signal ,look over your right shoulder (your blind spot),check outside right mirror again, if safe release parking brake.
- Move: let the clutch pedal come up smoothly while depressing accelerator for more speed ,take your left foot off the clutch pedal.
